My love for cinema began early, thanks to my father. He introduced me to a wide range of films — from Sergio Leone’s westerns to the Bollywood of the 70s and 80s, and the world of martial arts through Jackie Chan. Growing up, he took me to watch everything that played in theatres, shaping my early love for cinema.

 

In fifth grade, when asked in school what I wanted to be, I wrote “hero” — the only part of filmmaking I understood at the time. That early fascination stayed with me, even as I pursued a full-time career outside cinema.

 

In 2016, creating a corporate video at work reignited that passion and set me on a new path. I went on to study Digital Film Direction at the LV Prasad Film Institute. Over the past six years, I have written and directed five short films, a music video, several travel films, and about twenty corporate films.

 

In 2024, I left my full-time career to pursue filmmaking independently. Being self-taught in cinematography, editing, and color grading allows me to remain hands-on and shape the visual identity of my work with precision.

 

My cinematic sensibility is shaped by both large - scale visual storytelling and quiet, humanist filmmaking. 

 

While I draw inspiration from many voices, filmmakers like Denis Villeneuve and Wim Wenders have been particularly influential in shaping my approach to tone, restraint, and emotional storytelling.
